How to wash the transplanted hair
To help the scabs soften up and fall off you should start washing your hair daily 72 hours after your hair transplant. It is important to wash your hair every day according to the instructions to keep the area clean, but also to help soften up the scabs. The scabs usually fall off within 7 to 10 days. When the scabs have fallen off, the hair follicles can begin to grow faster. After 4 days you can start washing your hair gently with a mild shampoo.
1. How to wash your hair
If the donor area is on the back of the head, you can start washing from when the bandage is removed.
72 hours after the procedure, you should start washing the newly transplanted hair with lukewarm water. Do not apply excessive water pressure. Shower the area with lukewarm water for 20 minutes to rinse the head thoroughly. This will help the scabs fall off and the hair can start growing faster.
2. Carefully bathe area
After washing, bath the area gently with paper. After a few days you can start using a clean towel.
3. Use mild shampoo after 4 days
After 4 days you can start using a mild shampoo. Create a froth in your hands and apply to the transplant area. Leave the shampoo on for a few minutes before rinsing.
